New Fighting Arena
Patch 1.8 will see the arrival of a fully blown fighting arena suitable for 1 vs 1 or Squad PVP events. This was originally planned with the Friday Night Fights events in mind, but opens up endless possibilities for Live Events.
"This new arena sports a large fighter’s ring complete with red and blue “corners”, bar, medic station, upper deck viewing area, and several recreation rooms. AFS officials have condoned this new area for both 1 vs. 1 and Squad vs. Squad fighting events. The new AFS Arena is accessible from all waypoint locations, so even new recruits can join in on the fun. "

Looks like an awesome fun place to hang out some time, the devs really put some effort into this, you gotta love that, it doesn't look like some half done boxing ring.
Really curious how this is gonna turn out on live.
