First, I put an [OOC] tag in the title of this post. This means that this post is out of character. Which means that it's me, the player behind one half of the Deoradhan clan, addressing you directly. When I post TR fiction, I'll tag those with [IC] in the title to let you know that it's in character. When I remember to.
In the comic book scene, the phrase retcon is applied to any information or story that establishes some heretofore unseen history or aspect to a character that was not previously present. Retcon is a combination of the words retroactive continuity. For example, when Superman first appeared in ACTION COMICS 1 in 1938 there was no mention of his being Superboy as a teen. That's because Superboy was added retroactively to Superman's history seven years later in MORE FUN COMICS 101 dated 1945.
So why am I talking about comic books and retcons in my Tabula Rasa blog? Because I've been writing up some fiction starring Caeruleum that is an offshoot of Mrs Deoradhan's stories starring Dulfer, and for some reason I started with what I consider to be the most recent events and then began chronicling her story backwards.
I have posted one story already, backdated to appear as if it was posted on 13 October. I also went back and altered my
previous story, changing its narrative from third person to first person and adding a sentence. And I'll be posting more backdated adventures over the next several days as I get Caeruleum's story down. But don't worry, when it's all done I'll post a handy dandy guide so you can read it all in order.
